What is the correct name for them?
They are known as Bedscreen Tracks, Privacy Tracks or Hospital Tracks, or just describe what you want them for – we will know what you need.
What colour does my new Bedscreen Track come in?
Professional Bedscreen tracks are available in white or clear anodised (matt silver).
Where will my tracks fit – I have lights and an Air Conditioner in the way?
Bedscreen Tracks can be fitted to the ceiling or suspended. Suspending the track will avoid these obstacles.
How do I know where to put my new Bedscreen Track?
An experienced consultant will be able to recommend the best position for the needs of you and your client, and will be able to work within the capability of the product to achieve the best results.
Can my new Bedscreen Track be bent?
Yes, Bedscreen Tracks can be bent using special equipment to prevent the track kinking (this ensures the track runners glide smoothly around the corners).
If I need more than one Bedscreen track, do they have to be joined?
Joining tracks can offer a more efficient use of the space, but there are exceptions, so it is best to talk to an experience consultant.
Can I use any type of track for my privacy curtaining?
There are many types of tracks available, however most are only suited to window curtains.
Bedscreen Tracks will be cordless and the runners will move very freely in the track. In this way the Privacy Curtain can be moved quickly and easily without the inconvenience of jamming runners.
Unlike other tracks, Bedscreen Tracks can be suspended from the ceiling. This can save you money on your Privacy Curtains.
Can I get more track runners (gliders)? (My existing Bedscreen Track is old and the runners are breaking).
It may be possible and will depend on the age and type of your track. Generally each type of track uses a specific runner and most cannot be successfully substituted. Over many years some manufacturers have gone out of business or been sold, which means that older versions of Bedscreen tracks (& the runners) are no longer made. At times though, you can be fortunate, and broken runners can be replaced. As there have been many types of Bedscreen Tracks over the years it will be necessary to give us a call.
